RECRUITMENT GRANT GUIDELINES

PURPOSE:

Delta Kappa Gamma Society International - Chi chapter offers recruitment grants

to encourage outstanding women to become educators, thereby  improving the quality of

education. The amount of the recruitment grant is $500 to $1000

CRITERIA:

1. Recruitment grans are awarded to:

a. Outstanding women in high school graduates entering an accredited college or

university who will prepare for a proffesion in education

b. Worthy college women in need of funds to complete their studies in education

2. A complete application includes:

a. Recruitment Grant Application

b. Potential as an educator evidenced by:

1) One Page autobiography (typed)

                                                                                                                    * Demonstrating knowledge of and interest in working with children and or youth

   * Financial need

c. Two letters of recommendation

d. Official transcripts
