 2011 GARADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION AND AWARD PROCESS

ELIGIBILITY: An applicant must be a graduating high school senior in 2011 who

plans to attend an accredited vocational, technical school, college or university in the fall of the

graduating year:

Applicants must be a child of:

* An active duty service member** living in the LAAFB area*

*A retired service member**living in the LAAFB area.* In such cases

the dependent must reside and attend high school in LAAFB area

*An active duty or retired service member**, living elsewhere. In such cases the

dependent must reside and attend school in the LAAFB area.*

*A military service member** missing-in-action or deceased while on active duty. In such

cases the dependent must reside and attend school in the LAAFB area*

*A current or retired DoD employee living in the LAAFB area*

*A current or retired DoD employee living elsewhere. In such cases the dependent must reside

 and attend school in the LAAFB area

Applicants must submit proof of dependent status.(Copy of valid military dependent ID card or

DoD employee sponsor's ID card)

Applicants accepting service academy appointments, full ROTC, or full college/university

scholarships are not eligible

Applicants may not accept awards form any other military spouses' club.
