ON A UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

JUNE 19 - JULY 30, 2011

While most students are lounging around the pool, playing video

games, or working at the mall, you could be CONDUCTING

RESEARCH at UC Davis. Join other high achieving high school

juniors and seniors doing original research in biology and the

natural sciences at UC Davis.

Participants in the 2011 YOUNG SCHOLARS PROGRAM

will work one-on-one with research faculty and research groups

in state-of-the-art laboratories for six weeks. Each student

will work on an individual project and prepare a journal quality

paper and symposium presentation about their work. At the same time, you will

experience the climate and culture of living and working on a university campus.
